Before Patrick Fox got his Masters from Kent State in 2008, he was working part time and doing internships in the field. Going back further, however, were the summers and weekends at his family’s Plumbing and Heating business. The work could be grueling, but to him it was an enriching experience that gave him a valuable piece of the puzzle. It was that perspective that all architects need to truly master their craft.
Patrick knows that architecture is more than just putting a design together as he’s been on the other side of that fence plenty of times. Ripping up beautiful architecture to fix structural issues is a headache for everyone, which is part of why Patrick dedicated so much time to his craft. Beyond just getting business, the employees at Fox want to be able to look at the finished product and smile knowing they created something that they can be proud of.
